Day 1: Arrive into Kathmandu:

Pick up from the airport and transfer to hotel - Dinner

Day 02: Kathmandu:

Breakfast, visit Shri Pashupatinath ji Temple and Boudhnath. Back to Hotel for lunch.

After lunch, final preparation for yatra i.e, checking and demonstration of equipments which will be used during the yatra.If any one needs to buy or get things on hire, our Nebuti Personnel will accompany the guest. Dinner.

Day 03: Drive to Nylam (150km), 3750m:

Morning after breakfast leave Kathmandu to commence yatra to Nyalam [3750M]. We reach Friendship Bridge [Nepal - China Boarder which is 110 kms - 4 hours drive] by mini-coach. Walk around for 10 minutes to cross the bridge and there get acquainted with Chinese guide and land cruiser( 4x4 vehicles Japanese make) drivers. They will give brief information regarding the further trip then proceed to Zangmu, where the immigration and custom formalities are to be accomplished. After the accomplishment offormalities, we proceed to Nyalam. Arrival at Nyalam and overnight at guesthouse.

Day 04: Acclimatization in Nylam.

This day there will be a short hike after breakfast.

Day 5: : Saga / 4450 m:

(Labug-La 5150m ( pass) Peku-tso and Saga, 232km) This will be the first long drive over the sandy and rocky land of Tibet.Small lakes, nomads chasing their herd of yaks and sheep are at times visible.By late afternoon you will cross the "Bhramhapurtra" river which is known as the " Yarlung - Yarlung-TsangpoTsangpo." Now a bridge has been built over it. Earlier the crossing had to be done by ferry. This smalltownis atypical Chinese and Tibetan

Day 06: Saga (4600m) to Manasrowar (4558m) 550 kms - 8 hours

Jeeps and trucks roll on the wide valley.Rivers and grazing land of yaks and sheep are visible from time to time. Far south onecan see snow covered peaks, lots of rocky peaks and sand dunes, which give you an ideal of the aridness of the landscape. Depending on the season, nomads who are known as "Khampas" can be encountered with. Mobile shopkeepersattired by beautiful traditional costume, waiting your arrival with hot tea and other supplies with a big smile. The longest driving day starts with full of excitement, bylate afternoon you can have the first sight of

"The Holy Kailash Parbat and Manasarovara". Hore, a small village near by Lake Manasarover.

Manasrowar: 4558m ( 12950 feet)

The highestfresh water Lake, which is turquoise blue, is full of fishes and swans. Holy Kailash Parbat,

Mt. Gurula-Mandala, Lake Rashekshi are lying in its surrounding. The region is considered rich for gold and other mines, hot springs and plenty of wild living creatures. Night will be spent at Chu Gumba.

Day 07: Puja & Holy dip in the Lake Manasrowar.

Later drive via Darchen ( Also known as Tarchen  14975 feer ) to Yam Duwar. Return to Manasrovar Lake.

Manasarovara is the lake of compassion, tranquility and bliss. Head towards Tarchen.

It is considered as the base camp for the Holy Kailash Parikrama.

Day 8 :Drive to Saga (460kms) 8-9 hrs

Day 9:  Drive to Nylam / Zhangmu (296 kms)

Day 10 : Drive to Kathmandu

Day 11: Transfer to airport for your onward flight.

  •  3 night’s accommodation in Katmandu in 3 star hotel on twin sharing room with meals (Higher grade properties in Kathmandu only can be provided at a supplement).

  •  A day guided tour in Katmandu.

  •  70 night’s accommodations in Tibet on group sharing basis using guesthouse / camp ( Single occupancy not available)

  •  Freshly cooked vegetarian meals 3 times a day.

  • Supporting crew including our own cooks.

  •  Permits for Manasarovar

  •  Tibet Tourism Board (TTB) approved guide.

  • Transportation by Land cruisers - Model 4500 (4 people in each vehicle 1 in the front & 3 in the back ) in Tibet only

   and by Non AC buses on the - Nepal side.

  •  Kailash Permit - as well as Tibet (Chinese) visa fee

  • Equipments for camping

  • Tents, mattress, dinning tent, kitchen tent, kitchen utensils, etc

  •  In case of natural calamities i.e. political unrest, cancellation of tour, landslides, landslide & other uneventful event

         the extra chargefor porters and transportation will have to be borne by the clients and is payable on the spot

Packing List

· A small pack bag

· Enough clothing for the whole Yatra. Do not over load

· First aid kit (typical backpacking kit for minor injuries/ our guide also will carry).

· Any regular medicines that you take

· Toileteries kit (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, towels etc).

· Water bottle / Thermos flask for hot water (1 liter).

· Sports shoes (Good one Nike, Adidas etc)

· Wool socks (around 4 pairs).

· Wool/thermal long underwear (shirt and pants, which is easier to were while doing parikrama). Note : Ladies to carry a pair of Salwar Kameez / Pants

        for the Parikrama

· Underpants (3 or 4).

· Gloves.

· Sunglasses.

· Sun lotion cream.

· Nuts, biscuits, powder juice.

· Rain wear (Umbrella or Raincoat)

· Torch / Candle / Matchsticks

· Have your passport ready well in advance to avoid last moment visa procedures ( must have a minimum validity of a year from  the intended date of entry into Tibet).

· Kindly consult your doctor and get yourself examined for this yatra, getting a medical certicafate from your personal doctor is mandatory.

· As Mount Kailash and lake Mansarovar is situated at high altitudes please start exercises like walking, jogging, yoga and other breathing    exercises in order to have a successful yatra

· Kindly get yourself a medical insurance for this yatra. Please make sure you cover yourself for emergency evacuation (helicopter) in the insurance - this is mandotry. In Nepal this is not available.
